While browsing the Old Car Show in downtown Fuquay-Varina on Wednesday evening, be sure to stop by Cellar 101 located in the newly renovated Mitchell Building and celebrate the Grand Opening with free wine tasting. Sigrid Lokrheim-Morton, co-owner of Epicur Wines, will guide you through a selection of wines she directly imports from Italy and France as well as other countries.

Sigrid and her husband, Kris, started the wine distribution business four years ago.  Epicure Wines is locally owned and they specialize in small, family owned and upcoming boutique wineries from around the world. They began importing wines directly from Italy and France this last year. Consequently they are able to offer high quality wines for a great price.

I have attended several wine tasting events hosted by Epicure Wines and greatly enjoyed speaking with Sigrid. I think the wine business is very fascinating and admire people who have the guts, tenacity, and faith to start their own business. So check out Cellar 101, the new wine bar/wine shop, and taste wines poured by Sigrid.
